L13 Entrepreneur Journal

This week was a very amazing week for me. I have been having hard times getting asignments done on time but we were blessed with good weather this week, no rain and at least every two days there is full light till the next day.
I learned great lessons from my PowerPoint presentation, even though I was not able to complete it, I learned from some of my class colleagues the importance of making a presentation so well that you can take investor into that “woow” moment.

I really enjoyed reading the file titled “WORK ON YOUR BUSINESS, NOT JUST IN YOUR BUSINESS”.
I learned that “Working in your business means that you remain an active part of the daily operation of the store. You might serve customers, train employees, and monitor records frequently, whiles Working on your business means that you take valuable time to develop strategic goals for what you want the business to become and that you establish plans for accomplishing those goals.
I have learned the importance of balancing in life, even though I learned this lesson through how to be implement in business, I feel balance is very important aspect of my life, as entrepreneur, student, family member etc.

From my Trial and Error Assignment, I came to learn from Ford great principles of life, with two failures which could have been a career-ending for Ford, he never gave up but continued.  Failure did not hinder his innovation, but served as the impetus to hone his vision for a technology that would ultimately transform the world.

I learned never to give up, but get going till I reach my destination.
I have done nothing this week due to my travels  in Nigeria but with communication with my clients who will need my service and my brother who was going to take care of them whiles am away, he was able to take a client to Kakum National park and made few profit for us after his little expenditure.

We made extra $30 profit this week and this adds up to our $55 making a total of $85 now as profit made.
Hope to make more and give details on all of our expenditure and charges in regards to our profit and loss.

“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently”.- Henry Ford
